To the former "Bucud" village the Esterházy family settled Slovakians in the 18th century. Today about 2200 people live here. Its late Baroque evangelic church is a historic monument. This church must have been built under the plans of Jakab Fellner in 1701. On the confines of the village, in the forest of Vértes the archaeologists have excavated - even in its ruins - a beautiful Benedictine monastery (which later fell into the hands of the Cistercian order), which is a characteristic memorial of the ecclesiology of the 12th century

Auf der einstigen Siedlung Bucud wurden von den Esterházys im 18. Jahrhundert Slowaken angesiedelt. Heute leben hier etwa 2200 Menschen. Ein historisches Denkmal ist die spätbarocke evangelische Kirche, die wahrscheinlich nach Plänen von Jakab Fellner im Jahr 1701 errichtet wurde. In der Gemarkung der Siedlung, in den Wäldern des Vértes, entdeckten Archäologen ein - noch als Ruine herrliches - Benediktinerkloster, das später in die Hände der Zisterzienser fiel, und das ein charakteristisches Denkmal für die Kirchenbaukunst des 12. Jahrhunderts ist.

Az egykori Bucud településre az Esterházyak a 18. században szlovákokat telepítenek. Ma mintegy 2200-an lakják. Késõbarokk evangélikus temploma mûemlék, valószínûleg Fellner Jakab tervei szerint épült 1701-ben. A település határában, a Vértes erdejében romjaiban is gyönyörû bencés - késõbb ciszterciek kezébe került - monostort tártak fel a régészek, amely a 12. századi templomépítészet jellemzõ emléke.
