Ruins of the migration period and of the Arpadian age indicate the continuity of the human life here. Today about 6-700 people live here, whose forefathers were Slovakian and German settlers. In the last century the village was famous for its water-mills. Its historic building is the Baroque catholic church. From among its natural values the Babály-rock with its interesting shape is worth mentioning.

Siedlungsüberreste aus der Zeit der Völkerwanderung und Árpáds kennzeichnen die Beständigkeit des hiesigen Lebens. Heute leben hier 600-700 Menschen, deren Vorfahren angesiedelte Slowaken und Deutsche waren. Im vorigen Jahrhundert war der Ort durch seine Wassermühlen bekannt. Ein historisches Denkmal ist die katholische Kirche aus dem Spätbarock. Von den Naturwerten ist der interessant geformte Babály-Felsen bekannt.

Népvándorláskori, Árpád-kori településmaradványok jelzik az itteni emberi élet folytonosságát. Ma 600-700 között van az ittlakók száma, akik õseiket betelepített szlovákok és németek között kereshetik. A múlt században ismert volt vízimalmairól. Késõbarokk katolikus temploma mûemlék jellegû, természeti értékei közül ismert az érdekes alakú Babály-szikla.
