It must have been a "toll-collecting" village. In a document from 1247 it aws first mentioned as Tholma. After the Turkish invasion Germans from Würzburg came to live here. It is registered as a nationality village even today. Not more than 550 people live here. Some of its characteristic houses with wooden verandas are still standing. Its catholic church is a historic monument, the furnishings of the church were made in Baroque and rococo style of the 18th century. Its known architectural monument is the Mária-chapel from 1812.

Im Jahr 1247 wird sie erstmals als Tholma urkundlich erwähnt. Nach der Zerstörung durch die Türken siedelten sich hier würzburger Deutsche an. Bis heute ist der Ort als Nationalitätendorf bekannt. Die Zahl der Einwohner übersteigt nicht 550. Von den charakteristischen Häusern mit Holzverande sind noch einige zu sehen. Historisches Bauwerk ist die katholische Kirche, deren Einrichtung im Barock und Rokokstil aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammt. Ein bekanntes architektonische Denkmal ist auch die Marienkapelle aus dem Jahr 1812.

Valószínûleg vámszedõ hely volt valamikor: oklevélben 1247-ben Tholmának említik elõször. A török hódoltság után würzburgi németek telepítik újra, máig nemzetiségi faluként tartják nyilván. Lakónak száma nem több 550-nél. Jellegzetes, fatornácos házaiból látható még néhány. Katolikus temploma mûemlék jellegû, berendezése 18. századi barokk és rokokó. Ismert építészeti emléke még a Mária-kápolna 1812-bõl.
